There are pros and cons to buying it from home depot vs the plumber buying it from a wholesaler. Main thing is warranty issues. If the heater has problems the plumber that installed it will be able to either replace the unit or change parts with ease, won't have to call customer service and deal with all the bs.

Home Depot has awesome prices on plants, and they have a great return policy. The catch is that you have about a 70% chance of bringing home a plant with spider mites. Home Depot discontinued the product line under the pressure of Stanley Black and Decker and TTI (Milwaukee), period. Estwing has been profitable making hammers that literally last forever.
